What is high overload capacity transformer

1.The transformer is applicable to the grid that with low annual average load rate, but the power load is concentrated and the load increases sharply in some periods.It is easy to make serious overload in short time or even burn out normal transformers. However, the transformer capacity cannot be artificially increased, resulting in the phenomenon of “big horse pulling small car”, then high overload transfromer is a good choice.
2.High overload capacity distribution transformer is energy saving, high efficiency, environmental protection, small no-load current, low reactive power loss and strong resistance to sudden short circuit.
3.It can operate continuously at 1.5 times of capacity for 6 hours (3H in rising and 3H in falling stages), 1.75 times of rated capacity for 3 hours (1.5 + 1.5) and 2.0 times of rated capacity for 1 hour without affecting the normal service life of the transformer.
