What are the power / distribution transformer models?

The transformer is a device that changes the alternating current voltage using the electromagnetic induction principle. People who have seen transformers and carefully know that there are many letters on transformers.

Are you curious about the meaning of letters on transformers? Transformers not only have these letters, but also specification models of transformers, and what specification models have transformers?

What did the letters on transformers mentioned? Today, Huarui Electric takes you to find out.

What is the model and specifications of the transformer?

The model and specification of the transformer is actually a lot, and the transformers of different specifications have different meanings.
  1. Dry transformer transformer, such as a dry transformer, its model is SCB11-800KVA / 10KV / 0.4kV, where the letter S “” represents a three-phase transformer, if it is the letter “D” represents a single-phase transformer. C represents the transformer winding as a resin pouring solid, i.e., a dry transformer. B represents the foil winding, B replaces the winding winding with R, which represents the aluminum winding, and z represents a carrier regulation. 11 is expressed as the design serial number, also known as the technical number. 800kVA indicates the rated capacity of the transformer (800 kV). 10KV refers to a rated voltage, 0.4kV refers to a secondary rated voltage.
  2. In the specification model of the transformer, if it is divided according to the voltage level of the transformer, the model number of the transformer can be divided into 1000kV, 750kV, 500kV, 330kV, 220kV, 110KV, 66KV, 35KV, 20KV, 10KV, 6KV, etc.
  3. Depending on the insulated heat dissipation medium of the transformer, the transformer can be divided into a dry transformer and an oil immersion transformer, in which the dry transformer can be divided into SCB epoxy resin cast dry transformer and SGB10 non-packaged H-stage insulating dry transformer.
  4. Depending on the iron core structural material of the transformer, the transformer can be divided into silicon steel laminate transformers, silicon steel roll iron core transformers and amorphous alloy core transformers.
  5. Depending on the design of the modulator, the oil immersion transformer includes S11, S13, S20, S22, and amorphous alloy oil immersed transformers include: SH15, SH21, SH25.
    The dry transformer includes SCB10, SCB11, SCB12, SCB13, SCB14, SCB18, and amorphous alloy dry transformers including SCBH15, SCBH17, SCBH19.

The meaning of the transformer letters.

  1. S-three phase; D-single phase.
  2. S-three windings; E-double windings.
  3. O-autobire. Non-autobire f-.
  4. Z-with load regulation; W-no incentive modulation.
  5. O-oil insulation; G-SF6 insulation.
  6. (Internal cooling) N-natural circulation; F- forced circulation; D- forced orientation cycle.
  7. (External cooling) A-air; W-water.
  8. N-natural cycle; F- forced circulation. Front Digital – Rated Capacity (KVA). Post Digital – Rated Voltage (KV).

Power transformer model

  1. Basic model + design serial number – rated capacity (kVA) high voltage side voltage.
  2. For example: S20-315 / 10 transformers are three-phase copper core 10kV transformers, capacity 315kVA, design serial number 20 is secondary energy efficiency.
